Bringing snacks and meals is important because there is not anything provided, and you will want to bring plenty of water. It is hot at sea, so if alcohol is allowed on board, be sure to take it easy and make sure you’re consuming plenty of food and water.

Sun Protection
Depending on the charter and boat that you reserve, there may not be much reprieve from the sun. While some boats do have an interior that allows you a place to hide, some don't. Play it safe and bring protection from the sun. Sun block, a long sleeved shirt, a hat, sunglasses, and even a light jacket will give you protection and make sure you don't head home with the worst sunburn you’ve ever experienced.
